The limited number of Chinese language instructors in Taiwan, however, cannot meet the huge demand. Training and cultivating Chinese language instructors, therefore, should be a government priority. The professional knowledge of Chinese language instructors is based on the principles and methods of language teaching. Plus, with the rapid development of information communications technology, better Chinese teaching services can be provided through integration with digital information technology.

Related Website: e-Learning for Chinese Language Project

TECO Employment Opportunity

Full-time Employee of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles
Qualifications：

＊United States citizenship or residence and legal work permits required.
＊Proficient in Mandarin and English, and in drafting formal correspondence in English.
＊Experienced in Chinese/English typing and in WORD and EXCEL computer software processing.
＊Applicants with international relations academic and/or professional background are preferred.
＊Expectation of salary or benefits shall be expressed in your resume.

Interested applicants, please send a Chinese and English resume, along with a passport photograph to the following address before September 6, 2009.

3731 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 700, L.A., CA 90010 or email to info@tecola.org（ATT.
