Chinese program Grade 9-12 Sage Hill School, independent school, grade 9-12, located in Newport Coast, CA, seeks applicants for a part-time and possible full-time Chinese teacher. This person will teach Chinese language courses to students in grades 9-12 and potentially assist with other events of Chinese Study abroad /exchange programs. Established in 2000, Sage Hill Chinese Program is one of the earliest high school programs established in Southern California area offering courses in Chinese language, history and culture. Qualifications include experience teaching Chinese; familiarity with Chinese language pedagogy; experience in China; strong background in Chinese culture and native in spoken and written Chinese; a Master or bachelor's degree; a commitment to working collaboratively with other Chinese teachers to create a strong language program; strong interpersonal skills with high school students.
